Another week done

Sunday afternoon, alone. So tiring, dad’s out driving the new car around, and I’m stuck home.. Oh well. Time for some music!

First, I discovered E.Via from ihoneyjoo. Damn….This girl is good! Pretty cute too. Her new mini album: Must Have. It’s really full of fun. She’s just so cool in her own way you know? Here’s a tracck off Must Have: Shake

She is……AWESOME. This girl looks innocent, but isn’t…NEVER! Sexy little video, catchy song, in a way it reminded me of Pitbull’s I Know You Want Me video. Except 100x better.

Next is Shoko Nakagawa‘s Ray of Light, sounds pretty good.

Don’t really feel like saying much, it’s one of those j-pop songs that just sound good but nothing really special or noteworthy.

Then continuing the Japanese Music roll is J-rock crew Sambomaster! I really liked this band, it just makes you feel good the same way Funky Monkey Babys do. Not excellent voices but it just feels good to listen to. A great pick-me-up if you’re feeling down ^_^. Here’s track 02 from their album Kimi no Tame ni Tsuyoku Narinai – Anata To Ikitai:

Great sounding song, no? You’ll be sure to enjoy the rest of the album, because it is awesome, and their voices improved over the years too! Sambomaster has been with me for a long time, their opening for Naruto – Seishun Kyousokyoku, is really awesome and has walked me through many hardships, like it just tells you to get your ass up off the ground and keep walking. Then it’s SKE48‘s Seifuku no Me album. I got to know this group from Shin Mazinger Shougeki. They’re pretty cool, like japanese SNSD, except that I kinda hate SNSD for some reason now… Here’s overture!

Sounds right. Better than SNSD’s repetitive melodies….gets too tiring, not to mention the cheerleader effect.

Then comes another J-rock crew. FUNKIST! with PEACEBALL. This band sounds great. Great beat, nice voice. Apparently some opening for anime, sounds like one too. But it sounds great. That’s what matters. Here’s a track:

Then it’s Lecca. She has a UNIQUE voice! It’s pretty amazing, couldn’t tell if it was a guy or a girl first, but then you find out. I thought she was tranny first time I heard her new single: Tsubomi. It’s a great sounding song…..with KUSUO! Kusuo is always awesome! Here’s the vid:

I was like whoa, she’s wearing pants? Looks like a dude? *googles* Oh a female?! Hahah great voice still though. Nice video too!.

Well, that concludes my blurbing about new music, an old song that I remember when I found Naruto is this: Wind by Akeboshi. It’s the first ending ever, and apparently the best sounding theme ever to be on Naruto, and it’s really touching and sad but great at same time. Here it is:

Cereal time!

Weather is nice today, but too windy and too cold. The sun is really misleading sometimes. So yeah. Life’s been how it’s always been, albeit a few changes. Been reading quite a lot nowadays. But not much time to actually do it so my reading is going really slowly. Seriously gotta slow down and spend some time exploring literature. Been reading too little. I think I need a bigger vocabulary, and the best way is through reading, you know?

I took out Huckleberry Finn because it’s by Mark Twain, and I heard that Mark Twain was really famous. I took an attemp at it before, but gave up because I ran outta time from the library and it didn’t allow me to decipher what Twain’s actually saying. It’s something you really gotta dig deep, as an SAT passage on Twain said. But I look up to him for that, his writing is deep, really deep. My vision of him is this man with his stomach full of ink and full of interesting experiences. And someone who shows his guns in a humble way. I like that kinda quiet guy, and try to be that kinda guy, but I couldn’t break away from all my friends who are the opposite.

Tired, too tired. Too much to do around here. I want vacation to come, then I can sleep in! Also make some money too, so I can buy some more Gunpla without parents’ permission bwahahahahahaha. Anyways, been a constant visitor of ihoneyjoo lately, and looking at new music. Here’s some highlights!! While I continue to eat my cereal in the sun. MM MM!

Paloalto – Lonely Hearts Album:

Another Korean rapper. I’ve heard of him before with Epik High, but I didn’t know that he was a rapper, more like a jazzy singer. No matter, for I am an avid fan of jazz. And Palo’s jazzy sound is no exception. His songs are really soulful, and his voice is really really good for a rapper. Not lying, and there’s none from this album that I would choose not to listen to. They all sound great and smoothly transitions between on another without directly doing so. Like how Koda Kumi’s driving hits were like a whole song, Palo’s album still sounds great as individual songs. Great music by a great artist. Looking forward to more!

MYUZIK!

Ah, these days are so tiring. Too many things going on W.W, summatives rolling in, end of year la la la. To get away from it all, I’ve been downloading a lotta songs lately. In packs of albums, and realized that I would need a bigger ipod. Well, give them a listen when you need a little break! If you wish to download, you can try ihoneyjoo.com first, if their mediafire links don’t work, then give dimazdizon a try. ihoneyjoo is by far the best for me, since it’s pretty clean, and I love mediafire downloads cuz it’s so convenient. Unlike Rapidshare, Megaupload, DepositFiles, etc.

First and foremost, a comeback album from Lee Hyori! Hyori’s been away for some time to recover from her last break up because apparently the dude killed her emotionally. But she’s back! And badder than ever! The album’s name is H-Logic, pretty unique and cool, I’d say.

Borrowing some concepts from Lady Gaga, but her songs are different styled. Hyori’s still awesome, though I think the Gaga knock off looked a bit weird, Hyori looks better than that….A LOT better. Anyways, some songs in that album that I love are I’m Back, Love Sign, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Feel the Same, Swing, 100 Percent, Bring it Back, So Cold, and Memory. Yeah about a lotta songs that you gotta like, and the songs I didn’t list sound good too.

Next comes some Japanese ElectroPop, I got Fushizen na Girl(unusual girl?) Single album from Perfume, and Secret Adventure Single album from MEG. I like Japanese singles more than Korean ones because they feature one or two more songs other than the song that the single is titled on, and these songs are most of the time not included in albums. Unlike Korean singles, just a single song. Here’re their covers.

Apparently Perfume’s been really famous, and I can see why, their songs are really catchy and trippy. MEG just sounds similar, but her voice sounds pretty cute. Oh, these songs are autotuned to the max, just so you know.

And then, it’s UVERworld! Their new album, LAST, is quite something. UVERworld has always been awesome, although their new songs take some time to get used to, they’re still awesome.This band is on par with L’arc-en-ciel and the Black Horn for me.

Songs that I love are GOLD, world LOST world, BARREL, Kokoro to kokoro, the truth, Hai! Mondaisaku, closed POKER, and CHANGE. As I said, some songs are downright bizarre. But what can I say, UVERworld is awesome.

Then comes a brand new album from Ayumi Hamasaki: Rock and Roll Circus. Ayumi sure looks cute in this album ^_^:

Title is a bit misleading as most of the songs are soft. Ones I love are microphone, Don’t Look Back, Lady Dynamite, Sexy Little Things, Sunrise ~LOVE is All~, You were…, and Red Line. Apparently the songs are arranged in a way so they get better near the end. Much appreciated, but I could do with Ayu making more fast and upbeat songs. GIVE US BACK DANCING AYUMI!!!! D:<

Next comes Koda Kumi’s Driving Hits 2! I really enjoyed Driving Hits 1, and DH2 doesn’t disappoint, newer songs and all good for Driving or just continus listening. Tracks are recorded so that they automatically transition into each other, which is frigging awesome and makes the album sound like a huge long ass song! AWESOME!

Can’t wait to plug it into the new car when it arrives. >w<

Was watching a movie called Ping Pong Playa at my buddy’s place recently and came across the grooviest songs ever in the movie’s sountrack.

I LIKE, I LIKE, I LIKE CEREAL! WHO DOESN’T? HELLS YEAH MAN. Then it’s this song from Jin – Hong Kong SuperStar.

Still remember the lyrics, so jokes, love to rap it off in front of people, its so jokes.

MOVING ON! Discovered an awesome Japanese Duet: Mihimaru GT. Their new single album Omedetou is really awesome, I even got teary through the music video, and I rarely shed tears watching something. It’s just really touching in a way, about all the milestones this old lady had on the bus, it’s so awesome, hence the title Omedetou, which means Congratulations. Also grabbed their recent album too, and the intro – Theme of Mihimalive3 – is awesome as hell. Been listening to that a lot and didn’t check out other songs. Here’s Omedetou, enjoy!

But it’s not over yet, even more Japanese is on the way: Himawari single from SPEED. The 4 girls look like sisters, probably are, gonna look that up later. The three songs in this single are awesome in their own way: Himawari, Moonlight Honey, and My Street Life. Himawari is really relaxing and refreshing, then Moonlight Honey is really cool, and My Street Life is soulful.

Came out 2 days prior to this post, I’m so coool! Apparently SPEED was separated before, and just recently got back together, ALL THE BETTER!

Another album came from Xepy, didn’t know who this was but decided to give him a listen when I was browsing through ihoneyjoo. Pandora Disc, it is called. Lots and lots of rapping. Some good, some bad, but it’s a good album with a lot of other artists. I especially liked the first song.

Another thing I was looking forward to and glad to receive was the Black Horn‘s new album - Tatakau kimi yo (Fight yourself?) 4 New songs and a lotta live recordings, they didn’t disappoint. Keeping the old style in new tunes, they always have their own sound, and in a way it feels really great to listen to in its own way. Rock, yeah, that’s rare. Heres Tatakau Kimi Yo:

Last but not least, another new artist: Standing Egg. Funny name, and really great song too. I chose to end with him because his songs feels really great, it just makes you happy. This self-titled single features 3 songs: something with a Korean title, La La La, and Kiss. Listened to La La La, its really light and lifts your spirits. Here’s a dose of that!

Fateful Encounter

Today at Wendy’s, I met someone’s eyes. It was an old lady working there. She was small and feeble. It seemed that even carrying plastic trays around is an ordeal for her. What is she doing here? Why is she working? These questions popped into my mind. I simply could not understand. How is it that someone her age would still have to come out to work?

This encounter perturbed me. It seems that the only reason that the lady was working is to support someone. I could see no selfishness in her eyes. Although it was a quick glance, it told a whole story. The old lady’s life could be better, and she’s supposed to be retired and enjoying life. But her offspring has forced her into working, or her oppsprings do not work and depend solely on her. Either way, the lady has been toiling a long time. Yet despite difficulties, she continues to work enthusiastically… Why? For what?

It seems that hope is the only answer I could find. Hope that the storm will pass, and the sun will come up. An undying spark that withstands the strongest of winds. I pity the lady, and I don’t wish that to become my parents or me. I obtained a valuable thought today. In order to give my family and I a good life, I must continue, and work hard to pierce the heavens…

Some thoughts

Dee, I’ve read your text. I never knew that you felt something, quite surprising. But nonetheless, I’m going to gamble one more time. I chose to use the blog because there is simply too much to say, I hope you don’t mind, at least it’s easier to read and digest.

But you know, as you say that I’m a serious relationship guy. Yes, I can be that, but I may not be that. I think by now you should know that I’m able to work with almost anything. But if you don’t know, here’s a revelation about me.

You know I like a lotta things, weird things, especially. I’m like a jack of all trades, I know at least a little bit of everything, know a thing or two about it. That is why I have so many different friends, including you.

Being the way I am, I can also work with many things. I never cared about being a specific role in a group, since I can do them all, so I let everyone pick first. Even when I’m out with friends, I let them pick where to eat and where we go to do what. It keeps things nice and simple, as I’m really quite a simple guy. That leads to what’s really important that you should know.

When you say that I’m a serious relationship guy, you don’t know enough about me. For me, I don’t really look for anything specific, since (again ==) I can work with all situations. Sure, a stable, long term relationship is great as it is. But for me, as long as we feel for each other, then it’s all good, whether it be long or short. Two people feeling for each other, in my opinion, is really all the ingredients for any relationship. So long as we gave each other a chance, that’s all there is, no matter what outcome may come.

That’s what I wanted to tell you about me. And I really hope that we give this a shot, because you’ll never know what will come of it. I’m not going to say fancy dialogues because obviously half of them can’t be realized. What I will tell you is this, Dee, even if it’s just a spark, it’ll eventually turn into fire, if we just try. Believe in me, who believe in you. Give it some more thought. Even if we don’t make it, it’s alright, I promise that we’ll still be good friends.

Oh man, these days have been quite rough…Heh, still alive afterall… Though I rather be dead…

Someone like me thinks to much, that’s for sure, and when you think so much you’re bound to have more stress than everyone else. And that is true…

I noticed that I’ve been going out for walks more often. The weight on my shoulder is getting heavier and heavier, day by day. Seems like the only way to break away is by these occasional treks out. Only things I need are the fresh air, and music. Block out everything, and finally find my corner of sanity. I wish to live for a while for myself, in a place where nobody knows who I am, then I would not be troubled, constantly.

It started to rain nowadays. I like the rain, I don’t get why people hate it. It feels nice. The rain cleanses, and make air once again fresh and crisp. You should enjoy the smell of fresh air after a drizzle, with the aroma of flowers and soil. Although I enjoy company, and although I’m quite social, but nevertheless, I prefer to have time by myself, flying solo. Especially when it rains, I would go out for walks, for hours, to escape the grasp of the demon called pressure. Everything is pressure me. School, family, home, friends, even my gadgets(Phone, DS, iPod and such). Everything’s working against each other and it seems hard to find a balance.

What’s more, I fear the time left. I have feelings for someone, but since my last relationship(which ended up changing me by breaking my heart for the first time ever), I could not work up the courage to confess. I know that I must do this soon, but, I am afraid. I was once a free-flying bird, shot down by an aarow straight through the heart. I’ve been hurt, my heart bled, I found my self aging, and ended up plucking a strand of gray hair from my head. You would never know the sorrow I’ve felt, the pain I’ve endured, and the damage I’ve sustained. My world was wrecked. I enshrouded myself in a shell, fearing the same incident happening again. Even now, my heart constricts every time I think about it.

Still, I must act quick. Therefore, I declare: one of you who read this post is the one that I feel for. To that person, I can’t say that I love you yet, but I do feel for you, and I care for you, and I want to be with you, although it is up do you whether you accept or not. Just hold on a little bit longer, otay? Once everything settles down, I’ll come for you…

Introspective Post…

Once in a while, you get time to truly look into yourself and your life. This post is dedicated to something that I have looked into about my self, and my life. Posts like these reveals bits of my dark past, I guess… This edition, about the social life, about me and other people. YOSH! Here goes.

I have many friends, whether male or female. Dudes are barely ever troublesome, but them girlies is the most annoying. So I shall start with the female population first. If you’re my friend and your female, please try not to kill me after reading this, I know most of you will sooner or later.

Most of the time, people think that the only reason that I approach any girl is to nail her. Yes, I don’t deny that it is not a possibility, but I have to clear out that it happens barely. And once I made a lady friend I may become affectionate to her is also within the realm of possibility. Okay, it’s better than one-night stands. But the aforementioned situations don’t happen for real at such a rate that other people take them to be. I feel like this has something to do with how I treat them girls. When I get tight with them, things often turn complicated somewhere or another. Ah, how I missed non-Asians. Asian girls think too much, you know, just ’cause you’re tight with them, they assume that you like them. Now that’s troublesome, and the following two scenarios take place:

1 – The girl assumes that you like her, and in knowing it, start to notice you and decides that she “feels the same” and then talks to you about her “feelings”. Yikes, that’s prickly, especially when you don’t feel the same. And this happened quite a few times, with them not finding out the truth and falling into nothing, only to get “huh? feel what? when did I say that?”

2 – The girl “finds out” that you like her, and decides the best course of action is to avoid contact with you. This shit happens quite a few times too, and quite annoying too. Like it just felt awkward and the friendship becomes strained.

Okay, so misunderstanding is the cause of all of this chaos. I guess people just don’t know how I roll. This is actually happening right now with some of you that stumbled upon this post or I deliberately told you to read it. Read this, and understand how I REALLY FEEL. I don’t wanna have to tell this to everyone once, so I decide to tell once to everyone.

Yes, that’s about all the complaining I have to do. Now it’s off to the dudes.

Dudes, we’re typically really tight homies, and we never let anything get between us, that’s how we roll. And roll is what we’ll always do. When you hang out with guys, you can do whatever you want, and you won’t be afraid that any girls would find out what you’ve been up do because you guy things will always be between guys, and we have a great time together (Try playing rockband drunk :P). I have some really great bros around me, and always been around since a long time ago, and I would never wanna lose them. Although sometimes, you lose a homie or two because they change, or sometimes even for a silly argument(Arguing over whether someone rolled a 5 or a 6 while playing monopoly…), but in the end, once homies, always homies. Know what I’m sayin’? Anyways, I gotta dip, the next introspective post will come soon. I hope. If I’m bored enough to look into myself again…

Another Day, Another Dollar.

Another dreadful week has yet to start. 4 day weekend coming soon though, so that is good, I guess. Today is another day 2, sciences and math. D: I don’t like it, you know. Bio was alright, we got to touching pig hearts. Smells like crap, I tell you, I even had to cover up, and I thought I was alright with it. Ugh. I got sent out for no apparent reason at all, and when I came back my secret supply of cookies was exploited. >:[ Not cool. Chem…Lab today…That was fun, at least I got okay group members. Was eating cookies in class. Thanks Dee Dee for taking my cute cookie D: My cute Mrs. Fields Chewy Chunky Chocolate Chip Awesome Ultra Cookie >:’[ Physics and Math are so so, work periods all the way lor. >.<

Okay done with the day, let’s talk about something else.

I’ve started on a game on the NDS, it is called Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, a sequel to the famous Professor Layton and the Curious Village.

Yeah yeah looks like a kiddies’ game doesn’t it. Cute drawings, one of those softcore advanture games. Anyone who loves solving puzzles would totally love this game and I can’t help but relate this series to a less intense version of Resident Evil games. Without the action, just progress through puzzle solving. It’s neither humourous, nor serious. I guess its placidity is what attracts people.

Quite some amazing features in this game and a whole lotta secrets to unlock, all good because you don’t feel nostalgic as in other games where you have to do the same thing over and over again. You unlock secrets by just looking around and searching and accumulating points called Picarats. Really, the puzzles are really intriguing, so does the story, which kinda makes you wanna just keep playing until the end. There are frequent voice audio in the came and occasionally there are animated movies, which is made to look sooooooooooooooooo innocent and cool in a way. In this game, you also get minigames, like the exercise hamster, and you try to look for parts  for a camera which you’ll be taking pictures later. Overall, AWESOME GAME! Now here’s a glimpse of the storyline:

After Professor Layton and Luke(his apprentice)’s adventure in the curious village, a letter was sent to Layton by his friend Schrader about the mysterious Elysian Box(Diabolical Box), which brings death to all those that open it. Unable to suppress his curiosity, Schrader attempted to open the box after writing the letter to Layton. Layton instinctually feels something terrible has already happened and rushes to see Schrader, only to find him dead in his apartment. Whilst searching the suite, the duo found a ticket for the Molentary Express, a high-class train that seemed like a cruise on rails, and had no destination printed on the ticket. The two decided to investigate the train, which soon leads to an epic adventure…..WITH PUZZLES!

Another something I’ve been up to lately is rewatching one of my favourite anime – Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Heaven-Piercing Gurren Lagann)

Gurren Lagann, the story about Kamina and his bro Simon breaking out from the underground for life on the surface of the earth, and facing many oppositions, and ended up having to go against the whole universe, AND WIN! Very very cool “lift you up” series.

Never fails to amuse me no matter how many times I watch it :D Kamina’s hot-bloodedness always touches me, Yoko’s body always stuns me, Simon…….Errrrr…..is always the main character? This anime is crazy awesome, I tell you, its so randomly funny, like all the time. “Who the hell do you think I am?!” that’s one that’ll stay with me forever. Thing is, this is created by Gainax, which I thought, after Neon Genesis Evangelion, can’t do something like this, but I guess Gainax is awesome enough to pull it off. KING TAMAMA ROBO! CHOU KAI OH MODE!

Got this thing from the store one day after debating whether to get a Gundam or this.It’s one of the new kits that have just been released after the new Keroro Gunso Pirate movie.

Construction is simple with very little pieces as all Keropla are. A lot of the details that have been shown on the box aren’t present and a huge sheet of stickers accompany the kit. There are two reasons that people would buy this kit because of this: either you want a quick fix for a new toy for a kid or you really like Keroro and want the figures. I’m the latter, obviously. Because there is so much colouring that is left out, I decided to go ahead and freestyle on the details. Overall, this thang is adorable and fun to play with, but articulation is on the downside, but who cares, it’s Keroro!

Standing tall right after assemble, it was okay laa, but you know, its too plain and doesn’t bring out the soul of Tamama, size is decent though, funny how I was expecting tamama to be as big as the one on the left…

This is….The ultimate robot…..Chou Kai Oh’s true form….

The Robot can split into two parts: the Tamama Robo Ashigeru and the Tamahorn Screw

Ashigeru Tamama Robo

A small robot that will combine with the Tamahorn Screw into a bigger robot, and it can transform too.

It’s called the Tadpole mode apparently, wow doesn’t it just look so professionally done?
